Well, another hero of my childhood died. (Scary!)
I always felt sorry for Michael Jackson. He had no childhood – by the age of 11 he was working about six hours in the studio – while other kids were playing in the parks.
He must have been a very sad and lonely man.
Here is one of Seán’s favourites:
And one of mine:
It was always great music, lyrics and videos…
Bye Jacko!
Yes, a man very much mis-understood, particularly by the media who tend to look for a story and embellish it. A man quietly spoken yet powerfully expressive through music. Unfortunately those who wanted to take advantage of his nature also managed to cast dispersion and doubt in the minds of those who didn’t really know him.
Michael Jackson was well and truly one of the great entertainers of “our” generation and beyond. His name will live on in legend and will be spoken for many years to come in the world of entertainment.
RIP Michael Jackson.
Well Dan, you are right, he was more YOUR generation.
Does Sean know that “Ben” is about a rat?
Oh, i haven’t watched the video, of course he knows…Funny, isn’t it?
Sure he knew – and yes it’s not too bad…
