Goodbye Jacko

Well, another hero of my childhood died. (Scary!)

I always felt sorry for Michael Jackson. He had no childhood – by the age of 11 he was working about six hours in the studio – while other kids were playing in the parks.

He must have been a very sad and lonely man.

Here is one of Seán’s favourites:

And one of mine:

It was always great music, lyrics and videos…

Bye Jacko!

Deleted Links

Well, updated my Blog and noticed some of my links were dead or the Blogs haven’t been updated for over a year. So I decided to delete the Links.

And here my little memory list:

Maybe you start it up again – ONE DAY…

Monty Python in German

I dedicate this video to Grant and Dale.

Well, be prepared for your trip, boys. This Bavarians are evil… Huaaahhhh! ;)

Happy New Year

According to Seán, Australia is missing out on a great part of German culture.

The Theater play “Dinner for one” is broadcasted every New Years Eve (Silvester) on several channels on German TV. You don’t even have to understand the language, that’s probably the reason why the show is so successful.

I wish you all a HAPPY NEY YEAR. Allen ein GUTES NEUES JAHR!

Enjoy

P. S. To Judith have a very nice birthday and don’t forget to watch the fireworks in Sydney harbour…

Merry Christmas – EVERYONE

We wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Does that look familiar do you?

Man braucht 125 g Butter, 125 g Zucker, 1 Ei, 2 EL Zitronensaft, 1 Beutelchen Citro Back (Schwartau), 250 g Mehl, 1/2 TL Backpulver, 250 g Datteln, 100 g gehackte Mandeln

Congratulations America!

Yes, you did! If I had been allowed, I would have done it as well. I hope for your country’s sake that Obama brings about his promised changes. You people have started the change, and the whole of Europe is happy that you will soon be rid of your terrorist. Congratulations Mr. President! Congratulations Mr. Obama, and the best of luck for the next 8 years! (I hope you do it again!)

Great idea!

Surfing thru the net, I found this blog:

http://differentstrokesfromdifferentfolks.blogspot.com/

An Artist, Karin Jurick, had the idea that different people could paint one photograph the way they liked. I like the idea, I like the different pictures – that’s why Karin has deserved a permanent spot on my blog.

Keep going folks!

Robbie & I

Robbie Williams – the man with the big scandals. I pity him, I would not like to swap my life with his – I am famous enough as I am ;)

Why would you tattoo half of your body? I suspect he will do more… Yuck!

Well, I wouldn’t call him one of my favourite singers. Some of his stuff is quite alright, and some, well, someone will like it…

I really like his performance at the Royal Albert Hall “Swing When You’re Winning”

Well, if he turns up for dinner he will be most welcome… ;)

I thought I would share that with you – haven’t we got nice smiles…

Little Connie Talbot was born on the 20th November 2000 in Walsall, Great Britain. She was discovered while taking part on a TV Show “Britain’s Got Talent”. She was favoured very early to win. However, she lost in the end. In 2007, she published her first Album, “Over the Rainbow”, which sold over 100,000 copies in England.

She is the first singer to be so successful at such a young age.

Well, I suppose the feeling is not as deep in her songs, but for a little girlie with so little life experience she is very good (I think). This little Lady has got talent – that’s certain – I’ve heard this song sung worse on TV…
